CACI secures expeditionary power task order

On October 29, CACI International Inc announced that it has been awarded a five-year task order valued at up to $185 million to support the U.S. Army’s Program Manager Expeditionary Energy and Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2). CACI will develop and integrate technologies that help soldiers sustain operations in contested and austere environments.

Under this contract, CACI will advance expeditionary systems that enable Army forces to operate longer and maintain mission effectiveness when access to infrastructure, supply networks, and positioning systems is limited or disrupted.

“Soldiers need dependable equipment and systems that allow them to operate effectively, regardless of the conditions they face,” said John Mengucci, CACI president and chief executive officer. “Our work will help the Army reduce its dependence on traditional infrastructure and give soldiers greater flexibility to accomplish their missions in challenging environments.”

CACI will conduct research, development, testing, and evaluation across a range of expeditionary technologies, including power generation and distribution, environmental control systems, GPS-denied long-range cargo airdrop, multispectral camouflage, protected shelters, field sustainment, and advanced sensing technologies and software.
