Sabel wins USMC ARV task order

On October 28, Sabel Systems, a digital engineering solutions provider with mission-focused expertise, announced it has been awarded a digital engineering task order by the U.S. Marine Corps Program Manager Light Armored Vehicles (PM LAV) to support the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program. Sabel is the prime contractor under its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III IDIQ contract. The task order carries a total ceiling of $19.05 million, including three 12-month option periods. The initial six-month effort is fully funded at approximately $390,000.

The program formally kicked off on October 27. Under the task order, Sabel will help the Marine Corps advance Digital Engineering and Digital Acquisition capabilities across the ARV program.

The ARV is a key component of the Marine Corps’ Force Design 2030 modernization efforts. The award extends Sabel’s digital engineering support into the program and helps improve engineering data review and acceptance, along with maturing Project Lifecycle Management workflows.

“Modern fielding depends on engineering data that is accurate, connected, and usable from the start,” said Shawn Purvis, chief executive officer of Sabel. “This award lets us help PM LAV build that foundation so the ARV program can move faster with greater confidence.”
