Immersive Wisdom secures Army NGC2 contract

On October 13, Immersive Wisdom, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a contract supporting the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiative under the company’s recently awarded Army Enterprise IDIQ. The award is part of the Army’s effort to accelerate delivery of software capabilities to I Corps and modernize command and control across operational formations.

Immersive Wisdom recently announced version 5 of its software, which allows distributed teams from headquarters to the edge to have resilient live-data briefings and meetings using existing C2 systems. The version 5 release brings web-browser, commodity virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and native client application users together in the same resilient, low-bandwidth DDIL collaborative workspace.

“We are proud to support the Army’s NGC2 initiative and its commitment to rapidly delivering innovative software to Soldiers,” said Michael Appelbaum, CEO of Immersive Wisdom. “Our technology enables distributed teams to collaborate, meet, brief, and work together, even in challenging communications environments. We look forward to supporting I Corps and the Army’s broader modernization efforts.”
