On October 12, the Department of War (DoW) has awarded Air, the leader in Enterprise Readiness, a $200 million, five-year contract in support of the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) ecosystem.
This contract extends a deep, longstanding partnership between Air and the U.S. Army. From NGC2’s inception through ongoing development and field testing, the Air Enterprise Readiness platform has provided software for eliminating operational bottlenecks, expediting mission planning, and shortening sensor-to-shooter-to-sustainer timelines.
By converting frontline operations into live demand signals, Air’s AI-native platform gives commanders forward-looking visibility into supply stocks, unit capacity, and overall force readiness. Shifting sustainment from a reactive posture to a predictive operational discipline eliminates long-standing supply-chain friction and keeps forces combat-ready.
Most recently, Air capabilities supported Project Convergence Capstone 6 (PCC6), the Army’s premier event designed to simulate realistic scenarios and push the boundaries of future warfare capabilities.
Building on field trials with the 4th Infantry Division (4ID), Air will collaborate closely alongside Army and industry partners to deliver NGC2 software, starting with I Corps as NGC2 transitions from division-level prototyping to operational delivery across the force.
“This award reflects the U.S. Army’s continued trust in Air to power the future of command and control,” said Tara Murphy Dougherty, CEO of Air. “By delivering real-time, AI-driven operational truth across every class of supply, Air helps eliminate friction and ensures our forces remain combat-ready at mission speed.”
