On September 16, CACI International Inc announced that it has received a one-year plus four option periods award to support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and its mission partners across a demanding and rapidly changing mission environment. The award has a ceiling of $1.5 billion.
“CENTCOM operates in one of the world’s most challenging regions, where intelligence must move quickly from insight to action,” said John Mengucci, CACI president and chief executive officer. “CACI brings the knowledge and advanced capabilities to help U.S. and partner forces act with speed, clarity, and confidence in support of our national security interests.”
Through Apollo, CACI will help USCENTCOM make faster decisions and coordinate more effectively across commands and partners. The company’s capabilities will enhance planning, analysis, information integration, and mission execution across the command’s area of responsibility. CACI will help commanders turn information into actionable insight and operate with greater confidence in contested or denied territories, allowing warfighters to out-compete adversaries in the information environment.
The award builds on CACI’s experience with irregular warfare missions across geographic and functional combatant commands. Under this award, CACI will apply that experience to strengthen USCENTCOM’s planning, coordination, and operational readiness for its most critical mission requirements, the company said.
