NGA posts BSSS solicitation

On June 29, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) released the solicitation for non-personal services required to support the mission of the NGA Security and Installation Directorate’s (SI) Counter Insider Threat Office (SII) Behavioral Science Team (BST). Proposals are due by 10:00 a.m. Eastern on July 17.

NGA has charged SII with detecting, deterring, and mitigating threats to NGA personnel, technology, information, and systems by analyzing combined data sources to identify anomalous events and threats posed by trusted insiders. SII supports the NGA Security and Installations Directorate (SI) in fulfilling its mission to make geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) happen by providing premier protections, security, and facilities.

This contract will be supporting the BST. The BST’s mission is to facilitate a safe, secure, and productive work environment by deterring, detecting and mitigating potential threats to NGA personnel, facilities, data, and systems through the expert application of psychological science.  BST executes this mission through four activities:  Consultation, Training and Education, Research and Development, and Liaison.
