Spry Methods adds Stu Shea to advisory board

On October 24, Spry Methods announced that it has welcomed Stu Shea to the Spry Methods advisory board.

Shea is a nationally recognized executive with a 40+ year career in intelligence, national security, aerospace, and technology. He most recently served as chairman, president, and CEO of Peraton, where under his leadership the company grew its revenue to over $7 billion and led transformative acquisitions, including Northrop Grumman’s mission IT business and Perspecta.

Before Peraton, Shea was the COO at both Leidos and SAIC and was a senior executive at Northrop Grumman. He played a pivotal leadership role in the separation of SAIC into two public entities (Leidos and a restructured SAIC), and has led major national security, intelligence, and mission IT portfolios.

Shea was also the founder of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) and the GEOINT Symposium, which drive innovation in geospatial intelligence.

“Stu’s unmatched domain knowledge, strategic insight, and proven leadership in defense and intelligence will help us scale our impact.  We look forward to partnering with him as we chart the next chapter of Spry’s growth,” said Ed Kim, co-CEO of Spry.

Spry Co-CEO Ted Ahn added, “Stu has dedicated his career to serving our country’s mission and safety.  His addition marks a huge milestone for Spry and will serve as a catalyst for growth by providing unparalleled direction, mentorship, and wisdom.  We are tremendously blessed to have Stu joining us on this exciting journey.”
