Air Space Intelligence Federal achieves CMMC Level 2

On October 9, Air Space Intelligence Federal, Inc., a subsidiary of Air Space Intelligence Inc. (ASI) announced it has successfully achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 certification following a rigorous assessment by a certified CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and compliance in support of its government and defense partners. The CMMC Level 2 third party assessment validates that ASI Federal has implemented and adheres to a comprehensive set of security practices that protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) across its operations.

“Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification and C3PAO assessment is a milestone that demonstrates our dedication to safeguarding sensitive information and supporting the missions of our government customers,” said Mark Lepczyk, president of ASI Federal. “We are proud to be part of this small group of organizations that has ensured our security posture meets the rigorous standards required for critical defense and aerospace programs.”

After a thorough multi-day assessment, the certification, assessed by C3PAO Redspin, confirms that ASI Federal has implemented all 110 key cybersecurity practices aligned with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171.

“ASI’s early Level 2 certification achievement demonstrates a true commitment to protecting our nation’s most sensitive defense data,” said Brian McManamon, president of Redspin. “Our team is honored to partner with ASI through this assessment process. Their proactive approach and operational discipline reflect the gold standard of cybersecurity maturity we strive to see across the Defense Industrial Base.”
