Parry Labs unveils Forge Boss

On September 22, Parry Labs announced Forge Boss, a new mission-computing module that combines advanced signal processing with artificial intelligence acceleration in a compact, rugged design. This dual-compute system sets a new standard for modular computing at the edge, helping defense customers upgrade systems such as electronic warfare, intelligence, radar, radios, and command and control across both current and future platforms, the company said.

Purpose-built for demanding defense environments, Forge Boss is fully aligned with Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) and the C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS). This ensures seamless integration across land, air, and maritime domains while reducing cost and time to field. The combination of reconfigurable FPGA processing and embedded AI acceleration provides unmatched flexibility for programs of record and emerging mission sets.

“Forge Boss is a milestone in next-generation computing for the warfighter,” said Dave Walsh, chief technology officer at Parry Labs. “By uniting high-speed FPGA processing with embedded AI in a rugged 3U form factor, we are giving our customers a future-proof foundation for mission compute, EW, C2, and autonomy at the edge.”
