Empower AI secures U.S. Army ISEC task order

On April 22, Empower AI (formerly NCI Information Systems) announced that it has been awarded a task order with the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command’s Mission Engineering Directorate (USAISEC MED). Under the renewed agreement, the company will provide cybersecurity life cycle management, cybersecurity engineering assistance, and security control assessor-validator services to support the Army’s integrated enterprise networking and information systems.

“USAISEC MED and its mission of supporting enterprise information systems reaches into every installation of the Army,” says Jeff Bohling, CEO of Empower AI. “Our partnership helps drive digital modernization at the directorate and strengthens mission success by ensuring cybersecurity performance across a range of systems.”

USAISEC MED, which operates under the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), ensures command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness. Empower AI will perform the work at USAISEC headquarters at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
