NAWCWD posts intelligence exploitation sources sought

On April 18, the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) announced that it is seeking sources to determine industrial capability of potential contractors in development of Intelligence Exploitation and Targeting Systems. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Pacific on April 28.

Currently, without any further information, the Government intends to procure Full and Open competition as a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contract.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 10 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency.

Information obtained in response to this notice serves to increase NAWCWD awareness of qualified vendors and potential offerors, should NAWCWD release any future solicitation announcement after review of all responses. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of:

  1. Qualified potential contractors
  2. Their socioeconomic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 541715 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology
