On February 7, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a request for information (RFI) for policy support. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on February 21.
The goal of this RFI is to solicit information, determine interest, feasibility, and capability from industry to assist the NGA Office of Contract Services (OCS) in structuring a future solicitation for a nonpersonal services Policy Support requirement.
The OCS, on behalf of the NGA, is seeking information from interested contractors regarding support in developing and implementing the agency procurement policy and ensuring effective and responsible contracting throughout NGA. Specifically, OCS seeks personnel who have the experience, education and training appropriate to the specific tasks identified below:
- Developing and implementing NGA acquisition policies utilizing Department of Defense (DoD) contracting authority.
- Advising NGA stakeholders to ensure effective and responsible contracting by providing cradle to grave contracting support.
- Serving as acquisition business advisors to OCS senior leadership, contracting officers/specialists, program managers, and other stakeholders.
- Crafting efficient and effective acquisition strategies in partnership with NGA offices.
- Training/mentoring/coaching in Contracting and Acquisition policy.
The purpose of this RFI is to gain information on current Industry practices that would meet NGA’s Policy Support requirement.
