US Secret Service announces National Computer Forensics Institute Industry Day

On April 9, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service announced the upcoming National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI) – Industry Day.

The National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI) located in Hoover, Alabama is a special program under a section of the Office of Investigations of the United States Secret Service. The NCFI provides training to state and local law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges in the aspects of computer and mobile forensics.

The NCFI has a wide range of requirements for supplies and services which include: instruction services, commercial off-the-shelf computers, mobile forensics equipment and software.

The Industry Day will be held at National Computer Forensics Institute, 2020 Valleydale Road, Suite 209, Hoover, Alabama 35244. On-site point of contact: Latonya P. Wright, 205-989-5300, latonya.wright@usss.dhs.gov.

An Industry Day event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2018. All interested firms wishing to attend the Industry Day event are required to register by submitting the name of all attendees (Limit three per vendor) by Friday, May 4, 2018 5:00 pm (Eastern Time) to the attention of: Uma.Redwine@usss.dhs.gov, Contracting Specialist and Lauren Edwards, Contracting Officer at email: Lauren.Edwards@usss.dhs.gov. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited to 15 attendees.

There are no security requirements. This event is open to all interested parties. Due to space limitations, no more than three (3) representatives from each contractor will be permitted to attend. The Government will not pay for any information provided or costs associated with travel to the Industry Day.
