Joe Cudney takes international SVP role for Parsons federal business unit
Parsons, based in Pasadena, CA, announced on March 7 that Joseph “Joe” Cudney has been appointed senior vice president, international, for its federal business unit. In this role, Cudney will be responsible for the unit’s new international business development activities, including United States government international efforts, foreign military sales, and direct commercial sales.
“Joe was instrumental in making Parsons a leader on the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Cooperative Threat Reduction Integrating Contract (CTRIC) II and the only company performing work in all mission areas,” said Carey Smith, Parsons Group president. “He also successfully grew Parsons’ business under the Army Corps of Engineers Worldwide Environmental Remediation Services (WERS) Contract.”
Most recently, Cudney was vice president, business development, supporting the environmental remediation and threat reduction sectors w
here he was responsible for new business development spanning a broad base of federal clients. Prior to that, he was technical director for munitions and chemical warfare materiel projects.
Cudney is a PMI-certified project manager and has 22 years of experience with Parsons. He holds a master’s degree in hydrogeology from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in geophysics from the State University of New York.
