On June 14, the Central Intelligence Agency released a statement regarding the release of declassified documents related to the former detention and interrogation program.
Today, CIA has released to the public 50 declassified documents — which constitute several hundred pages — related to the former Detention and Interrogation program. These documents can be found at CIA’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) online reading room at the following link:
The documents are being released pursuant to FOIA. This release covers internal CIA documents as well as other documents that were cited in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report on the program.
