Leidos named managed security services provider for RSA Security

leidos 112Leidos, a Reston, VA-based national security, health and engineering solutions company, and RSA, The Security Division of EMC, announced June 29 that they have joined forces to deliver security solutions through managed security service offerings for their joint customers.

Leidos’ Managed Security Service (MSS) program will leverage the RSA® Advanced Security Operations (ASOC) solution paired with its extensive RSA Archer®  GRC expertise to help provide comprehensive security offerings for Leidos and RSA commercial and federal clients.

“RSA and Leidos understand the evolving cyber paradigm of constant threats. These threats demand our comprehensive technology and services to continuously monitor and quickly address attacks before they can adversely impact the business,” said Lisa Roger, vice president and division manager for cybersecurity at Leidos.

The Leidos MSS offerings leverage the Leidos Security Operations Center (SOC) and combine an array of critical security capabilities that include threat intelligence, enterprise configuration and vulnerability management and 24/7/365 managed network operations security center services, among other capabilities. The Leidos SOC is one of the most advanced installations in the United States, receiving an Authority to Operate after an annual inspection and audit each year by the U.S. federal government.

“We’re thrilled to have Leidos join the RSA Managed Security Services Provider program. By focusing on the RSA ASOC solution and the RSA Archer platform, together we’ll provide customers with a compelling set of security services to help support their security operations’ needs,” said Jeff Brooks, vice president of sales at RSA.

Leidos has two established multi-tenant hosted cloud environments that are already constructed, operational, and accredited using RSA Archer GRC solution.  When RSA Archer GRC is combined with the RSA ASOC solution, Leidos will further extend its abilities to detect and mitigate the risk of even sophisticated security threats, as a service for customers.
