The same five Intelligence Community leaders who appeared before the Senate Intelligence Committee on January 29 will re-assemble and testify again about their assessment of global threats in a public hearing before the House Intelligence Committee on February 3.

“The Worldwide Threats Hearing is an open hearing the Committee holds each year that evaluates the current and projected threats facing our country,” said a notice posted on the House panel’s Web site.

The witnesses scheduled to appear are James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence; John Brennan, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency; Michael Flynn, Lieutenant General, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency; James Comey, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and Matthew Olsen, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

The session will take place in Room HVC-210 of the Capitol Building, beginning at 10 AM.

“The open hearing will be preceded by a classified hearing on the same topic to be held Monday, February 3, 2014,” said the Committee’s notice. “The closed hearing is not open to the public or the media so that classified information can be discussed.”
