Vigilant Solutions expands its sales team

Vigilant LPR Vigilant Solutions, a provider of license plate recognition (LPR), facial recognition, hosted analytic tools and data in North America, announced on June 23 the addition of Kris Robinson and Scott Dye to its public safety sales team.

After a period of strong growth, and in preparation for continued expansion, Robinson joins Vigilant in the role of sales director. He will assist in the formulation of sales strategies, coaching and mentoring of other sales team members, and management of key accounts.

After graduating Cal State Fullerton, Robinson built a successful career by providing technology solutions to law enforcement agencies for more than 23 years, holding positions with Motorola and PIPS Technology (now a 3M company).

Dye joins Vigilant as regional sales manager covering the Northwestern states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota and Alaska. A former U.S. Marine, Dye has more than 25 years of experience as a law enforcement professional serving Clatskanie Police Department, Coos Bay Police Department, Keizer Police Department, and Oregon Department of Public Safety in various roles including patrol officer, rescue diver, narcotics K-9 handler, detective and lieutenant. Following his law enforcement service, Dye worked as a regional sales manager for PIPS Technology and also as a general manager for Auto Additions, a reseller of public safety equipment.

Commenting on the additions to the team, Neil Schlisserman, vice president of sales, said, “The additions of Kris and Scott to our team signify a pivotal moment in our company’s growth. Getting two individuals of their caliber and experience also validates that we are doing the right things in the market — developing the right products, providing the right services, and delivering the right levels of support and customer satisfaction. We are excited to have them on our team and look forward to their contributions.”
