USAFRICOM seeks ISR collection support

On August 25, the General Services Administration, on behalf of the United States Africa Command, posted a request for information for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations (Solicitation Number: ID09170083). Responses are due by 2:00 p.m. Eastern on September 1.

General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM). USAFRICOM has a continued requirement for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection, and Processing Exploitation, and Dissemination capabilities (PED).

The Department of Defense (DoD),  US Africa Command (AFRICOM) requires a commercial off the shelf (COTS) or COTS-modified solution to support Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection, Processing Exploitation, and Dissemination capabilities.  The successful contractor shall provide high mission endurance airborne ISR data collection and transmission for eventual ground station processing, exploitation and dissemination within the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) on a per flight hour basis.  This task supports the ISR data collection portion of the solution.
