U.S. Army’s CECOM software engineering center awards Sotera $16 million task order for DRRS-A support

Sotera 112Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. (Sotera) of Herndon, VA announced on April 12 that it was awarded a $16 million Task Order (TO) by the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) for the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Army (DRRS-A).

The CECOM SEC mission is to ensure operational readiness by developing, providing, integrating and maintaining Army C4ISR, logistics and business software. Under the new TO, Sotera’s team will provide consolidated technical, engineering and management services for the CECOM SEC Command Control Communications-Tactical (C3T) Directorate. Efforts include design, development, integration, test, and documentation preparation for DRRS-A, as well as technical, logistics, training, and administrative support efforts pertaining to both the hardware and software defined by the DRRS-A system baseline.

The three-year task order was issued under the Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation (SSES NexGen)-Unrestricted Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity vehicle.
