Toffler Associates, a strategy consultancy, announced on May 5 that it has been awarded a 20-year follow-on to its government-wide Mission Oriented Business and Integrated Services (MOBIS) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA).

The GSA awarded Toffler Associates this contract based on excellent results from an extensive and detailed contract audit, as well as the firm’s exceptional performance over the past 15 years on its previous GSA MOBIS contracts and task orders, said the company in a press release.

The award consists of a base period of five years plus three five-year options.

“This is another example of Toffler Associates being recognized for our continued outstanding service to the U.S. government,” said Toffler Associates managing director, Deborah Westphal. “We are exceptionally proud of this accomplishment, realizing that very few consulting firms in the country receive this type of follow-on award.”

The GSA MOBIS contract is the primary government-wide vehicle for obtaining consulting services. The MOBIS contract provides for the full range of management and change consulting services that can improve a federal agency’s performance and mission success.

Through this contract Toffler Associates has provided strategy advisory and consulting support to government organizations, including the U.S. Defense Department, U.S. military services and the U.S. intelligence community, as well as a range of civilian government agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, NASA, the Food and Drug Administration, and many others.

“With our differentiated future-forward focus, our clients are better positioned to succeed in a rapidly-changing world,” Westphal added. “We start by helping clients understand what is shaping their future operating environment and why. Next, we collaborate with our clients to plan for how to address opportunities and risks in their emerging environment. And then we help our clients adapt in specific, concrete ways to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.”
