R9B announces new government cybersecurity contracts

R9B (root9B, LLC) of Colorado Springs, CO announced on January 10 that during the last quarter of 2017 it received more than $5.5 million dollars in government and commercial contracts focused on providing HUNT and other advanced cybersecurity services both onsite and from the R9B Adversary Pursuit Centers in Colorado Springs and San Antonio, TX.
Highlights in the commercial market include a new HUNT operations development contract with a Fortune 500 insurance and financial services company; the extension of a multi-year Orion HUNT engagement with a Fortune 500 retail corporation; a new multi-year Managed Security Service contract for a multi-billion dollar international talent management and entertainment provider; and several additional contracts focused on providing traditional cybersecurity services.

R9B’s newest government contracts support federal, state, and municipal entities to provide a full range of cyber services. Federal achievements include the extension of an ongoing HUNT contract with the Department of Defense, utilizing the Orion HUNT platform to enable active adversary pursuit operations, as well as multiple training events. At the state and municipal level, R9B will provide incident response, security assessment, and advisory functions.
