NGA releases RFP for GSR-Yorktown contract

National Geospatial Intel 112On July 5, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency posted a notice advising interested parties that the RFP for GSR-Yorktown was now available.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has posted a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the GSR-Yorktown contract.  NGA intends to execute a single award ID/IQ contract to fulfill the requirement.  The duration of the ordering period is expected to be 5 years in length, with 12-month Task Orders.  The anticipated award date of the effort is January 2017.

The overall objective of the GSR-Yorktown contract is to develop a capability that can search and retrieve all content from NGA, and additional content from the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), the Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and emergent NGA sources.  The goal is to enable a more efficient and effective search and retrieval mechanism for mission, corporate and functional content within the NGA, the NSG, and the Intelligence Community (IC).

All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the NGA.  Responsible sources may view information about the effort utilizing the IC Acquisition Research Center (ARC) unclassified and classified website.   The unclassified IC ARC website is https://acq.westfields.net/.  The classified IC ARC website is https://acq.nro.ic.gov.  Responsible sources are required to download copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from the IC ARC website.  Hard copies will not be made available.
