Naval Surface Warfare Center invites vendors to 2015 Industry Day Summit

Navy 112On September 21, the United States Navy issued the following invitation to its 2015 Industry Day Summit. Interested parties must notify the agency of their intention to attend before October 30.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) is sponsoring an Industry Summit for small and large businesses currently doing business with or seeking to do business with NSWC PCD. The Division performs scientific research and engineering, analysis, and planning support for the following missions:  Mine Warfare, Amphibious Warfare, Naval Special Warfare (NSW), Diving and Life Support, Underwater Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), ISR supporting NSW, and other missions in the Littoral and Riverine environments.

The Industry Summit will start at 9:00 A.M. Central Time on Thursday, 19 November 2015 at Gulf Coast State College Panama City Campus (GCSC) in the Student Union East (SUE) Conference Center. The tentative agenda for the meeting includes presentations by NSWC PCD senior leadership providing:  Warfare Area program trends and projections, projected Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 business base and opportunities, latest information technology policies, FY 2015 contract statistics, and trends / hot topics in contracting policies and procedures. The Industry Summit briefings and any discussions will be UNCLASSIFIED but are FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO) therefore parties are requested to forward visit requests specifically for the 19 November 2015 NSWC PCD Industry Summit for all attendees to NSWC PCD via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) (SMO Code 613315, Ref: NSWC PCD Industry Summit 19 November 2015). Attendance is limited to U.S. citizens only. All must complete a JPAS request for the Industry Day visit even if your JPAS is currently for a whole year.
