Michael Ryan joins DHPC Technologies as director of cyber electro-magnetic activities

DHPC Technologies of Woodbridge, NJ announced on April 30 that Michael Ryan will serve as the company’s director of cyber electro-magnetic activities. In his new role, he will oversee existing DHPC work in the convergence of cyber, electronic warfare and signals intelligence as well as lead DHPC into new areas in both offensive and defensive cyber. Ryan is recognized throughout the Department of Defense as one of the key architects behind the Army’s renewed commitment to cyberspace operations.

“Mike is joining DHPC at a time when the company has seen significant growth through several strategic Army and Intelligence Community contract successes. As a proven leader with a distinguished career of vision and guidance, he is the perfect fit to join the DHPC family as he brings the aptitude and expertise in cyber, electronic warfare and engineering.  We look forward to pursuing new clients in the defense, Intelligence Community and industry markets,” said Joe Aletta, DHPC CEO.

Ryan recently retired after 34 years of support to the Army in various engineering and leadership positions, which culminated in his nine-year tenure as the Army deputy project manager for electronic warfare and cyber.  He holds two master’s degrees, one in program management from the Naval Postgraduate School and the other in national resource strategy from National Defense University.  Ryan will work out of the company’s Belcamp, MD and Woodbridge, NJ offices.
