Mercury Systems receives $2.2 million order for electronic warfare system upgrade

Mercury Systems, Inc. of Chelmsford, MA announced on December 19 that it received a $2.2 million order from a leading defense prime contractor to extend the lifecycle of a legacy electronic warfare system.  The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2017 second quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

“This order represents an opportunity for Mercury to modernize a highly successful electronic warfare platform,” said Charlie Hudnall, vice president and general manager of Mercury’s Embedded Sensor Products group.  “Our deep RF and digital domain expertise enhances threat detection and management using modular open architecture standards while reducing the risks and incremental costs of new program development for our customers.”
