Information Services Group (ISG), a technology insights, market intelligence and advisory services company, on June 16 named industry veteran Todd Lavieri partner and president of ISG Americas.

Lavieri will oversee ISG’s largest region, representing about half of the firm’s revenues. He succeeds David Whitmore, who plans to return with his family to his native UK.

Lavieri brings 24 years of experience in the global services industry to his new role. He joins the company from IBM, where he served since 2010 as general manager, IBM Global Consulting, and most recently as general manager, Global Business Services, IBM Canada.

Before joining IBM, Lavieri was president and CEO of Archstone Consulting, a strategy and operations advisory firm he founded in 2003 and sold in 2009. Earlier, he was a partner at Deloitte Consulting and a member of its Global Management Committee during a distinguished 13-year career with the firm.

He has personally advised Global 1000 clients in such sectors as manufacturing, retail, life sciences, healthcare, energy and consumer products.

“I am thrilled to have Todd join our leadership team at a time when ISG is poised for significant growth. His depth of experience spans many sectors and geographies, as well as all aspects of technology and operations advisory services with such industry powerhouses as IBM and Deloitte, along with his own firm, Archstone Consulting,” said Michael Connors, chairman and CEO of ISG. “Todd is a great innovator and builder, and will add tremendous value to the firm in developing and executing our global growth initiatives and expanding our client relationships.

“At the same time, I want to thank David Whitmore for his many contributions to the firm, including the successful integration of the Compass business we acquired in 2011, and his role in building that firm’s world-class benchmarking business, which is now an important part of our end-to-end capabilities,” Connors added.

Said Lavieri, “I have followed ISG since my days at Archstone and I am impressed with the firm’s depth of talent, its global reach, and its unique fact-based, data-driven approach to helping the world’s leading companies and government entities achieve operational excellence. I look forward to working with the firm’s clients and its exceptional team of advisors to realize the exciting growth prospects that lie ahead.”

Lavieri is a graduate of Trinity College, of Hartford, CT, and holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
