IMPRES enhances wireless access with DHS contract

IMPRES 112United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) selected IMPRES Technology Solutions  to procure, install, configure, and manage a new wireless initiative within their Springfield, Virginia complex, the Santa Fe Springs, CA-based company announced March 17.

IMPRES’ team provided Wireless LAN Architectural Design, Implementation, Comprehensive Test, and Configuration Support Plans, as well as a detailed Installation Plan to rollout the Wireless Access Points (WAP) solution. IMPRES also coordinated all labor, equipment, and supplies to deploy all deliverables on-time.

Upon project completion, IMPRES provided thorough knowledge transfer to all relevant stakeholders within the CBP. “This project shows IMPRES’ turn-key portfolio of best-of-breed product offerings and expert professional services,” commented Steve Ridgeway, Vice President of Sales. He added, “DHS and the FirstSource II contract are very important to IMPRES and we will continue to provide this exceptional service throughout the life of the contract.”

IMPRES currently holds both a Small Business and 8(a) contract for DHS’ IDIQ FirstSource II contract.
