Ground intelligence center seeks support from a small business

NGIC sign The National Ground Intelligence Center has released a presolicitation notice alerting small businesses to a solicitation for a wide variety of support services to help the NGIC at its facilities in Charlottesville, VA.

A formal solicitation for a small business set-aside contract is expected on or about April 4, says a notice published by the NGIC on March 27.

The chosen vendor will provide services that support the agency’s software engineering efforts on major intelligence production applications, particularly in the following areas: operations and maintenance; software engineering; information assurance; requirements management; and Cloud integration, says the notice.

The projected award date is August 2014, says the NGIC.

“The period of performance for the first task order is 12 months from the date of award,” explains the notice. “The primary place of contract performance is the NGIC’s facilities in Charlottesville, VA.”
