???????????The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), a non-profit public-private partnership focused on helping all digital citizens stay safer and more secure online, announced on December 11 that Jeff Jacoby, director of program engineering for cybersecurity and special missions at the Raytheon Company has joined its Board of Directors.

Jeff Jacoby is a systems and software engineer with three decades of experience helping Raytheon customers in the Intelligence Community, military, civilian agencies and commercial industry develop and protect their cyber networks. Jacoby is a leader in Raytheon’s support of STEM (Science, Technology, Education and Math) education and cyber talent development initiatives which include Raytheon’s sponsorship of MathMovesU®, MATHCOUNTS®, and the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

“Jeff is one of the leading cybersecurity and cyber intelligence experts in the country. His work at Raytheon is directly linked to strengthening critical infrastructures, information systems and missions worldwide, which is vital to the world of cybersecurity,” said Michael Kaiser, NSCA’s executive director. “Just this past October ‒ during National Cyber Security Awareness Month ‒ Jeff and his team provided NSCA with unwavering support. Their dedication and participation – from the launch of Raytheon-NCSA Millennial survey to actively engaging in the month’s kick-off Twitter chat among other invaluable ‘behind the scenes’ activities – underscores their ongoing commitment to NCSA. We look forward to working with Jeff and the Raytheon team on a continual basis throughout the year to expand and enhance NCSA programs.”

“At a time when cyber threats have become a national security concern, Raytheon is looking for solutions that bring awareness to cybersecurity as well as inspire and train the next generation of cyber experts,” said Jacoby. “NCSA has been a valuable partner to Raytheon for years. It will be a privilege to serve among the ranks of some of the world’s most influential experts toward a common goal to secure the cyber domain for everyone ‒ businesses, governments and individual users.”

Both the breadth and depth of his experience make Jacoby extremely well suited to support the Board of Directors’ efforts to plan and execute initiatives on behalf of NCSA. In his previous role, Jacoby was director of Raytheon’s Cyber Enterprise Campaign overseeing the delivery of current and future cyber capabilities working collaboratively across the company to leverage diverse technology and engineering talent. Jacoby has also served as director of information technology operations and services for Raytheon’s Intelligence, Information and Services business.
