Longmont, CO-based commercial imagery intelligence company AllSource Analysis and BAE Systems, one of the world’s largest aerospace and defense contractors, announced on June 18 a strategic alliance to bring multi-source imagery analysis products and content to a wide variety of commercial and governmental industries for the first time.
“With BAE Systems’ Geospatial Software as a Service technology platform and the AllSource analyst network of military and commercial intelligence veterans, we’re driving geospatial analysis into new commercial markets that will have access to best-in-class imagery-based analytical content,” said AllSource CEO Stephen Wood. “As Uber revolutionized urban transportation by federating labor costs and increasing service efficiencies, AllSource is building an expert network of all-source, imagery and geospatial experts with defense and industry-specific experience to fuel both government and commercial business intelligence content that will be easily discovered and purchased within a subscription delivery model.”
AllSource Analysis will leverage BAE Systems Geospatial eXploitation Products’ powerful, secure, cloud-hosted, exploitation tools to support the AllSource Analyst Network. BAE Systems GXP® offers the industry-leading imagery software suite for the creation and delivery of highly-accurate geospatial and intelligence data. GXP’s cloud-hosted geospatial Software as a service (SaaS) offerings include GXP Xplorer®, GXP WebView, and SOCET GXP®, which provide an integrated solution to optimize analysis workflows from discovery, to exploitation, product generation, and dissemination. Together, these technologies will serve as the foundation for comprehensive image and video analysis, data management, and geospatial production capabilities for the distributed network and product suite, as well as lay the groundwork for a mutually-shared vision defining the next paradigm in cloud-based content provisioning for commercial imagery intelligence.
“The AllSource commercial sales channel is a perfect fit with BAE Systems’ vision of providing critical imagery-based intelligence to traditional government customers and now to a multitude of private industries,” said Rex Ballard, general manager of GXP at BAE Systems. “The GXP platform allows analysts to quickly exploit imagery and information, enabling them to generate finished products that drive actionable intelligence.”
“Our relationship with BAE Systems enables us to build out our technology platform and achieve our goal of becoming the go-to brand in commercial intelligence much faster than we expected since our founding last year,” said Wood. “Our Longmont headquarters is quickly evolving into an international nerve center supporting a repeatable revenue model that turns big data into answers for a new generation of decision makers in industries ranging from defense, intelligence and security to energy, the environment, supply chain management and financial services.”
